The small property is wonderfully placed for walking to most of the major sights, including Piazza Navona and Vatican City, while the Colosseum and the Forum are a convenient bus ride away. At night, the bridges near the hotel offer spectacular views of St Peter's Basilica and Castel Sant'Angelo. Salvo and Vera were wonderful hosts who made us feel completely at home. On arrival, Vera explained how the property worked, marked up a map with the main attractions, estimated walking times, suggested shops and restaurants, and gave bus numbers where needed. Later, manager Salvo made a point of meeting us and shared plenty of useful information. The property was very clean, the room surprisingly spacious for an Italian boutique hotel, and breakfast more than adequate. I would definitely recommend it to couples visiting Rome.”
